IF 2025
A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR
What is “IF”?
Faith Initiatives is the name of Parkway Church’s outreach arm. Our generous members faithfully contribute to this initiative in addition to their tithes and offerings, which support our local church.
We affectionately refer to this outreach initiative as “IF,” since our giving is a reflection of our trust in God and our dedication to our purpose, to “LOVE: GOD. OTHERS. MISSION.”
100% of our IF funds go towards needs outside of our church’s building and operations.
This includes supporting:
Local Oak Creek, Milwaukee area, and Wisconsin non-profit organizations
National non-profit organizations and U.S. home missions efforts
Foreign missions and humanitarian organizations around the globe
Our Efforts in Oak Creek, Milwaukee, and Greater Wisconsin
Faith Initiatives begins with loving and serving the people right here in our own communities. Through strategic partnerships with local ministries, nonprofits, and outreach programs, Parkway Church is meeting both physical and spiritual needs across southeastern Wisconsin while creating real opportunities for the gospel to reach hearts and homes.
Milwaukee Homeless Veterans’ Initiative (MHVI)
“I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and will execute justice for the needy.” (Psalm 140:12)
Parkway Church is honored to support the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative as they serve men and women who have courageously served our nation. This organization exists to help homeless and at-risk veterans regain stability, dignity, and independence through essential services and relational support.
Many veterans face complex challenges after returning home, and this ministry meets them with compassion, structure, and hope. Their work reflects God’s heart for those who have sacrificed deeply. Through Faith Initiatives, Parkway helps ensure that no veteran feels forgotten and that lasting restoration is possible.
Veterans Community Project
“Share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house;” (Isaiah 58:7)
Veterans Community Project is building a powerful solution to veteran homelessness through a village of fully furnished tiny homes on Milwaukee’s northwest side. Each home offers more than shelter—it offers dignity, stability, and a place to heal.
What makes this partnership especially meaningful is that Parkway members can volunteer directly in the construction process, turning generosity into hands-on impact. This project reflects the heart of the gospel by restoring community and offering hope to those who once defended ours.
“Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” Through Faith Initiatives, Parkway is helping transform empty land into a living testimony of restoration.
National Fire Safety Council (Oak Creek)
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
Parkway Church proudly partners with the National Fire Safety Council in Oak Creek by sponsoring life-saving fire prevention education for local students. Through engaging school programs like FireUp, children learn critical safety skills that can protect their families and neighborhoods.
This partnership shows that outreach is not only about crisis response but also proactive care. Teaching children to be prepared is an expression of wisdom and love for community. Faith Initiatives helps ensure that the next generation is equipped with knowledge that saves lives.
Safe Families
“Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)
Safe Families reflects the heart of God by stepping in before families reach a breaking point. Through a network of trained, vetted volunteers, parents facing social isolation receive real support, practical resources, and compassionate relationships while they work toward stability. The goal is simple but powerful—to keep children safe and families together.
This ministry offers multiple ways for people to serve, because everyone has something they can give. Parkway’s partnership through Faith Initiatives helps strengthen homes before crisis strikes. Safe Families provides a living picture of radical hospitality, intentional compassion, and the Church showing up when it matters most.
Good News Club (Greendale)
“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14)
Good News Club brings the message of Jesus directly into the rhythm of children’s lives through after-school Bible clubs held in safe, familiar environments. Through stories, worship, Scripture memory, and interactive lessons, children hear the gospel in a clear and engaging way.
Parkway specifically supports a local Good News Club right here in our area, helping plant seeds of faith that can impact generations.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them.” Faith Initiatives makes it possible for children to encounter God’s truth at an age when their hearts are especially open.
Home Missions Churches
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;” (Matthew 9:37)
Through Faith Initiatives, Parkway Church helps support new and growing church plants across Wisconsin. These churches bring the hope of the gospel into communities where spiritual support and biblical teaching are greatly needed. '
Church plants don’t just change Sundays—they strengthen families, support local needs, and bring unity to neighborhoods over time. They offer worship, discipleship, outreach, and relationships that help people grow in faith and find purpose.
By investing in Home Missions churches, Parkway helps ensure that more communities have access to the life-changing power of the gospel.
Local Food Banks
“You will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.” (Luke 14:14)
Faith Initiatives also supports local food banks throughout the Milwaukee area, helping families and individuals who are facing financial hardship and food insecurity.
Hunger doesn’t just affect the body. It impacts emotional and spiritual well-being, too. By partnering with food banks, Parkway helps ensure that people receive not only nourishment but also dignity and compassion.
Scripture reminds us, “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord.” Each meal served represents love in action and a tangible reminder that God sees, cares for, and provides for His people through the generosity of His Church.

Our Efforts All Over the World
Faith Initiatives reaches far beyond borders to advance the gospel across the world. Through strategic global partnerships, Parkway Church supports Bible training, orphan care, and missionary outreach that is transforming lives, strengthening churches, and bringing the hope of Jesus to the nations.
PHILIPPINES
Gordon Mallory Theological sSchool
“That the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:17)
Through Faith Initiatives, Parkway Church sponsors six students at a Bible school in the Philippines for two full years of training. This support covers their tuition, housing, and meals, allowing them to fully devote themselves to their studies and spiritual development.
Currently, three students are in their first year, and three are completing their second year of training. Parkway also helps support the school’s teachers so that quality discipleship continues. These students represent future pastors, missionaries, and leaders who will carry the gospel across their nation and beyond.
Hope Village
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life.” (John 10:10)
Hope Village ministers to orphaned and abandoned children in the Philippines who face extreme poverty, natural disasters, and daily instability. Through Christ-centered care, these children receive food, shelter, medical care, education, and the assurance that their lives have value and purpose. Beyond meeting physical needs, Hope Village focuses on inner healing and restoring dignity through the love of Jesus.
Parkway’s support through Faith Initiatives helps bring security and belonging to children who once lived in survival mode. Hope Village exists to bring that promised life to vulnerable children.
NIGERIA
Darla McLean Children’s Home (Lagos, Nigeria)
“I delivered the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to help him.” (Job 29:12)

BEYOND…
Foreign Missionaries

These missionaries plant churches, disciple believers, provide humanitarian aid, and boldly proclaim Jesus in diverse cultures and difficult environments.
While their locations differ, their mission is united: to make Christ known. Through Parkway’s faithful giving, missionaries are equipped, sustained, and sent to places where the light of the gospel continues to break through darkness every day.
